Lake Tahoe Century - On a Unicycle!
Saw a couple of unicyclists out there. 100 miles on a unicycle.. crazy.

I hope this person had a helmet-cam, 'cause I had trouble just keeping my bike steady going down Spooner Mountain. The crosswinds were insane!
Found a very brief clip from this year of one of the swim waves starting. This was definitely the most nerve-wracking part of the race-- standing in the "pen" and watching the countdown until the airhorn went off. Wasn't feeling that great that morning and at this moment was like "What the hell have I got myself into!?"
Had our first training ride this past Saturday. Thirty miles out in Ashburn, VA. Going to a bourbon tasting the night before no longer seemed like a good idea when I got up at 6am that morning. It's definitely a different experience doing this as captains. Hopefully we'll actually be of help to some people. The rides will quickly ramp up from here on out, as it's a compressed season of only 12 weeks of training. Some pictures next time...
