Rest in Peace
Sad news...One of our mascots (see May 2007 archives) died some time last night/this morning. 
Peanut was a great little guinea pig that I've had for 6 years. I got her from a co-worker shortly after I moved to Maryland. She was spunky, friendly, and very loud when she wasn't fed right away. She liked carrots and apple cores (not apple slices) and got along well with the kitties.
Rest in peace, Peanut.

I am so sorry to hear of Peanut's passing. Although I'm not a big animal fan, I know Peanut meant a lot to you and will truly be missed.
